I would like to send out an invite to all those interested in going to the NBX G.P. of Cross/Verge Finale in Warwick, Rhode Island Dec 5-6. The plan is to leave early Friday morning, go straight to the race course to pre-ride, race on Saturday and Sunday then head home right after the men’s elite race on Sunday. For those in the Kingston-Ottawa region, I plan to cross the border at Gananoque and can make arrangements to meet you en route.

The plan is to leave early Friday morning, go straight to the race course to pre-ride, race on Saturday and Sunday then head home right after the men’s elite race on Sunday. Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be driving down to the USGP of Cyclocross Derby City Cup in Louisville, KY on October 23-25. I will also be heading out to the Verge Series NBX Grand Prix of Cross in Warwick, RI on December 4-6. Seats are still available for both trips so do step up as they will go quickly.

What is included on the trips:

- Transportation of you and up to two bikes and all the wheels you can carry to the race in a 9 passenger van with enclosed trailer

I am very pleased to announce the launch of my new service, Soigneur Race Services. It's been in the works for the past little while but it all finally came together and is now in full swing. After being Vergified the other week, I had the lingering taste of racing in my mouth, so being deep in southern Alabama the following week, I found myself at the Alabama Cyclocross State Championship with Aldo Sfalcin. The Alabama Cycling Camp took me in for the preparation of this race as long as I was coached by Aldo himself and to wear their jersey at the race. Not a problem!!

My coach, soigneur, team director and I hopped into my car early in the morning for the 2.5 hour journey to Cullman, AL. On our drive up, Aldo explained to me the facets of cycling and what I was doing right and wrong and went on about everything under the sun about cycling... The travel time just flew.... :p
