If you haven't heard yet, anyone who has been thinking of going down to watch the World Cup in Rhode Island in October will be disappointed to hear that it has been postponed for a year.
There will be three UCI races this year in Ontario. Aurora, Centennial Park and a new course in Mississauga. The Mississauga and the Centennial Park races will be a double date Saturday/Sunday.
New rumours of World Cups coming to North America... some day:
"Talks were also held concerning the possibility of Canada jointly organising a UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup event with the United States – the two legs to be held on two consecutive weekends."

Rod,
I have got to hand it to you. That is a pretty serious scoop. I have not seen that news anywhere else. Keep your ear to the grindstone.
Mike
I googled it.
Rod,
You are still amazing and apparently I have much to learn in the googling department. Cycling News June 24th.

A link...
Hi Mike,
Sorry - I should have posted a link... cycling news - june 24
Seems like the race's cancellation was kind of under-reported considering how big an event it was supposed to be.
Oh well, lots of other races happening this year...
On the good side...
Is it true that there will be three local UCI races??
It is true
There will be three UCI races this year in Ontario. Aurora, Centennial Park and a new course in Mississauga. The Mississauga and the Centennial Park races will be a double date Saturday/Sunday.
thats right
It's true. Craig and I still have some work to do on the 3rd event. but it looks like Nov 17/18 at Centennial park.
The location in Mississauga was ridled with buracratic landmines.
Cheers
