Speed River CC presents: 6th Annual Halloween Cross Stage Race

The Speed River Cycling Club is proud to present the 6^th Annual Halloween Cross Stage Race, two days of cyclocross racing action as part of this year’s Southern Ontario Cyclocross Series.   

Both novice and experienced cross racers are encouraged to come out and test themselves at these events made possible thanks to the generous support of our race sponsors: Speed River Bicycle, Wellington Brewery, United Rentals, Kona Bicycles, Cycles Lambert and Giro gloves and eyewear. 

The 6^th Annual Halloween Cross Stage Race is this Saturday October 31^st and Sunday November 1^st at Kelso Conservation Area, Milton.  This two-day event is Ontario's only cyclocross stage race.  Each day offers a separate race course consisting of a fast mix of rolling hills, pavement, gravel, grass and sand, barriers and obstacles, with the possibility of one extended run up. 

There are lots of great cash and merchandise prizes up for grabs each race day, along with a separate prize purse for the stage race GC. See the website for complete details. 

On Saturday only there are additional prizes to be won for the best Halloween costume in each race! 

Entry fees are $25 per day via pre-registration, with day-of entry available for an additional $10. Discounts are available for multiple-day registrations.   

One-day event permits will be available for non-licence holders and US domestic licence holder.  Pre-registration is available at: http://www.ontariocycling.org
