Centennial CX :(

So it sounds like there were no lights last night.

I have a light on my bike and a sudden hole in my calendar next Tuesday night.

Anyone up for crashing up and down the Humber River (or anywhere else...Riverdale, perhaps?) starting at 5ish next Tuesday?

Last night was the last

Last night was the last night but there was no ski hill lights on (parks employee mistake). A few of us smart ones had a helmet light and became instant leaders of the group! I led a group around most of the Centennial Park property, and we found the route around the lake, along the gravel roads, around the soft grass of the main soccer field, and up the gravel road to the top of the ski hill to be a great workout…..plus repeats. Seems everybody liked it so much that we will do the same again next Tuesday night. Except most will show up with helmet or bar lights this time!

I think we should all give

I think we should all give Craig a big THANK YOU for going out all these Tuesday afternoons/evenings and setting up this training for us. This helped us all be better racers. Thanks Craig! Good luck to our S. Ontario racers in Ottawa this weekend. Last night was a great workout. It is reasonable to climb the hill without the ski hill lights on the grass as well.

Thanks Craig, Tuesday

Thanks Craig, Tuesday nighter midweek sessions go a long way to maintaing my sanity and mental health, the crit and cross both. I can't imagine many people get to practise on full length taped courses.........thanks guys. I know it takes hours, often arriving just after lunch some times and then hanging around watching us blowing snotsicles before packing it all up again.

props to Craig, Bob, Rick, Hugh and the all the other midweek gang who make it happen everyweek.....guess its back to the pysch ward for the next few months.

last night was a pretty good work out, maybe Craig can dig his bike out for a change...........donuts are on us next week.

thanks again & cheers,

BK

a few of us are getting

a few of us are getting together next Tuesday night @ centennial park to ride... no course, no barriers, no ski hill lights... just some laps around with friends (trying to put the hurt on you).

If your interested... bring your lights and meet us @ 6:30pm in the parking lot.

Tuesday night was a blast -

Tuesday night was a blast - can we throw in a run section just for fun too? Just bought another light so I'll have two little spares for those without this Tuesday. Can we not go for a beer in place of coffee and donughts? Need the carbs but not the sugar. We can show our gratitude to Craig and company and toast the holiday and new year all at the same time.

I'll be there @ 6:30

I'll be there @ 6:30 tonight... anybody else??? bring your lights

Ed and I will be there as

Ed and I will be there as well. We just want to ride around and get cold so the Steam Whistle feels warm afterward.
