I'm racing 2/3 - previously known as the killer-B's. It's a deep field. Masters races are ability based too - so there is a 3/4 masters race at 9am - otherwise, the 11am masters race is quite competetitive, but may be a good option for many. If anyone wants to start at 9am, feel free... just don't expect me to be there with the cowbells.
I think the typical start times are as below....
CATEGORY DISTANCE START TIME FEE
Cat 3/4 Master Men 35+/ 45+ 40 minutes 9:00 AM
Cat 4 Men 40 minutes 9:00 AM
Masters 55+ 40 minutes 9:00 AM
Cat 3/4 Women 40 minutes 10:00 AM
U15 Junior Cat 1-4 (10-14) 3 laps 10:00 AM
U19 Juniors Cat 1-4 40 minutes 10:00 AM
Cat 1/2/3 Master Men 35+/Master45+ 45 minutes 11:00 AM
Cat 2/3 Men 45 minutes 12:00 PM
UCI Elite Women 40 minutes 1:30 PM
UCI Elite Men 60 minutes 2:30 PM
The 9:00 race would probably be a good fit. They have seemed to be pretty good in the past about letting people change categories, so you can try one on Saturday and if it doesn't work, you can change categories for Sunday.

You should do Cat 2/3 men
You should do Cat 2/3 men (Men B) like the most of us will. M 3/4 is too early in the am.
Unless you really want to do the Master female race.
