Ziggys races

I could do without the concrete dismounts. You have to give him credit for hiring Al to do the timing for the mtb events (that costs money). The provincials come with a mess of commissaires and such indiscressions will not be overlooked.

I miss Aurora, and Albion too but I thought that Ziggy's races were better organised last year and reading comments, most were full of praise. I'm hoping the officials will continue to bear some of the burden in taking care of the concrete dismounts, etc.

For provincials, note that cycle-solutions is co-promoting the race with Ziggy and will hopefully provide a lions share of the course design. It sounds like an interesting venue.

I have a hard time stringing together "disappointed" and "abundance of races", regardless of who is putting in the hours to secure permits, organize and promote them!

All the rider has to do is preride the course early before the racing starts, find the commissaire and complain if there is something not so kosher. Most of the time they will listen to your concerns. They are there to ensure a safe course. I have had success in the past doing this. People have to speak up.
